NBC journalist, Martha Buckley took these pictures last week.

She wrote: “They took time off from their daily chores to part take in building their road from the waterfront into the main village so mothers can carry their cargoes out to the beach with ease.

“During rainy season, the whole place floods making it difficult for the mothers to walk to and from. Samari village and Oromo Sapuo village at the mouth of fly river.
