Oh dear Oh dear!!, and our TEACHERS are not able to understand OR calculate, that a 3% increase on their Pay Rates could not represent K480 per fortnight, as in the case of a High School Teacher. Oh and the Back Pay they have received is only for 2017. I would love to see the Calculation Sheet. The Chairman Baran Sori is suggesting that a 3% increase for the year of 2017 for a High School Teacher is K3,029 ???. That would suggest a Base Salary of K100,966.66. AND How does The Chairman NOT Know that the Teachers are NOT receiving their Pay Slips and WHY does The Secretary for Finance have to be REQUESTED to restore the Web Self Service “as soon as possible”?? Sounds Like CHAOS to me.

This is total chaos for the Education department of PNG.
It is ridiculous to see such things happening to the very hard working committed teachersโฆ.going back instead!
